I’m Ali Sea,
founder of
Sea Social Work.

For almost two decades, I’ve worked as a qualified social worker and supported people age 16+ with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, neurodivergence, brain injuries, dementia and mental health challenges.

I know the system, I understand the processes, and I genuinely care about making a positive difference – which is why service users, carers, professionals, and organisations instruct me to help them achieve better outcomes.

Carers Assessments

Focused assessments that support carers under the Care Act 2014, ensuring they get the help they need in their unique situation to continue their caring role while considering their views, goals, and wellbeing.

Mental Capacity Assessments

Person-centred assessments that evaluate a person’s ability to make specific decisions including decisions about care and support, residence, finances, use of the internet and social media, contact with others, and sex – with COP3 paperwork provided if required.

Best Interests Decisions

When someone can’t make a decision for themselves, I help find the best solution. Each view on what is in a person’s best interests is backed by careful reasoning and recommendations that respect the person’s wishes and potential.

I partner with organisations to make services more accessible, streamline processes, and create better pathways for individuals with disabilities.
